| 2016 Make Music event at Silver Lake State Park |
MakeMusicVT, presented in partnership with Big Heavy World,
is an international day of music-making that will be taking place in more than
120 countries and 700 cities worldwide. Vermont is the first US state to
coordinate a state-wide event, with performances at public places, including
libraries, sidewalks, and state parks.
Park entry is free to attend these performances and no
pre-registration is required. Performances will be held at Kingsland Bay,
Boulder Beach and Silver Lake State Parks rain
or shine.

Vermont SongFarmers, 3-7:30pm
Rik and the Vermont SongFarmers based in Hinesburg VT host
an acoustic jam session from 3-7:30 Anyone who plays an instrument or just
wants to sing along is welcome to participate. A “SongFarmer” is any artist who
uses their music to make their families, their hometowns, their careers better. More information here.
