Jade Jarvis

Jade Jarvis

Jade Jarvis is a 20 year old Biology major at Saint Michael's College. Jade grew up in Albany Vermont and is proud to be a part of the Northeast Kingdom. Although she is from Albany, she will be spending this summer in Burlington doing research through her college. The research will include trail cameras, getting a whole new view of wilderness photography. She is an only child, but her best companion is her Golden Retriever named Paisley who loves to take adventures with Jade. Although Jade has been to many of the state parks in VT, she is excited to explore more of the state, all the while "leaving no trace".

Jade is an avid hunter and fisher-woman in Vermont, and likes to fish all over the state. She also likes to boat, kayak, hike, camp, and spend time exploring new areas in Vermont. Jade loves photographing birds the most, and always has her Peterson guide book to help I.D. any birds in the area. Jade shoots her photos with a NikonD3300, a Canon PowerShot SX720, a GoPro, and the always trusty iPhone. She is excited to take photos this summer in state parks and share with the community her love of the wilderness.
