Pets

Pets are part of your family, and we know that you want them to share your fun when visiting a state park. Here is what you need to know for a great experience:

Pets must be safely confined or on a leash less than ten feet at all times

Your pet is expected to have current rabies vaccination

Please respect others by keeping barking to a minimum

Please pick up after your pet

At all campgrounds (but not day use areas). There is a per night pet fee. Some campgrounds have specific areas for pets.

Silver Lake, Branbury beaches (but not on sandy part beach or swimming area)

Osmore Pond, Owls Head, Allis, Elmore, and Underhill picnic areas

Cabin A at Lake Carmi

Lake Carmi Loop A Campers' Beach

Lake St. Catherine Campers' Beach

In day use areas

On beaches
