Taking your first camping trip is easier than you think. Just like preparing for any trip you need to cover the basics: what you need to sleep, eat, wash and play.
It helps to organize gear based on purpose: cooking stuff, clothes, kitchen gear, sleeping items. Plastic storage bins or duffle bags are easy ways to store your gear and supplies.
Most state park campsites are easily accessible by car and sell wood and ice for your convenience. If you're not quite ready to try tent camping, you may wish to start in one of our cabins or cottages.
