There is something about eating in the outdoors that makes food taste especially wonderful.
Preparing meals while camping can be easy. Vermont State Park campsites have picnic tables and fireplaces or fire rings with grills for cooking.
You'll need a cooler for cold food, and plastic storage bins work great for dry food. Most parks sell ice so you can replenish your supply.
A camp stove and a pot or two are nice, but not essential. Aluminum foil is a must, and you can either choose to cook with wood or charcoal. Most parks sell firewood.
